The colors in this room originate from the sunset that can be seen in the blue painting with added neutral colors that are seen in the furnishings also originating from the fireplace. In the center are the sofa and the pillows. This combination of colors brings the outside inside representing the night sky and the colors that appear before sunset. To re-create this room I chose a two piece sofa designed to make conversation easy with the curved design.
The dining area strengthens the notion of a sunset being a guest at this house. The chairs and the lighting above represent the sunset in many ways. The designer made sure to keep the image of the sunset in full view. To recreate this room I chose this lighting which adds bursts of color to the room in small pockets.
