Royal Blue Beverly Hills Design

Royal blue is the main color in this multi million dollar Beverly Hills home. As in every designed room, the focus is on balance of the colors. The balance can be subtle, or more bold like in this room. The chess pieces are also mixed in with the room. The two blue walls are balancing the room. If those two walls were not blue, then something in the corner of this room near the window should be royal blue. For instance, instead of the two blue walls, a royal blue statue would also balance the room.

In this view, we see the outside design balancing the inside of the house. This genius use of large windows to do this is wonderful. The two white chairs to the left, are mixing well with the white chairs outside. This design technique is visually extending the size of this room when the window curtains are open. Here we see the marble coffee table and all around matching lamp tables.

In the center we get a better look at the marble coffee table that has variations of color that match the walls and framing of the mirrors. Always and most often, colors from one piece bounce around the room. This angle of the room shows symmetry in that if we folded this picture in half it would be identical. This is very good technique in design that balances a room. The designer kept this room design neat and organized. Royal blue as in all shades of blue are my absolute favorite. This particular room uses tufted sofa which ads a very classy style to this California home, which is also great for a picnic style lunch. In the evening, the lights in this room sparkle like the stars.
