Elegant Holmby Hills Design

This Holmby Hills estate was designed with nature in mind. Nearly every aspect of this home has natural elements from the outside placed on the inside. For an outdoor dining table, the designer considers the outdoor elements making sure to make furnishings weather proof. To recreate this design, I chose the following dining chair with dark oak wood that compliments the table and the foliage.

In this particular room, the color grey and blue balance the design. The patterned embossed grey ceiling, the geometric flooring and coffee table all keep the room together. The color blue is seen in adjacent rooms, plus the pattern in the chair and sofa. To recreate this room, the color white is also kept to balance the room. For the coffee table, I chose the following table.

The Reserve is an architecturally significant estate situated on two ultra-private acres in the heart of Holmby Hills. Surrounded by swaying palm trees, lush forestry and immaculate landscaping, this secluded oasis is a vision of modernist architecture. The Reserve was recently refined by a team of expert designers and international craftsman who have carefully expanded the estate to create two properties that function for modern day living whilst exuding old Hollywood glamour. The main house’s proportions are palatial. The ceilings are a spectacular floor-to ceiling windows offer uninterrupted views of the beautifully landscaped gardens, water features swimming pool. Inside the house there are five spacious bedroom suites including a master wing, as well as a tremendous family kitchen/dining room, wine room, two magnificent living spaces featuring a Hollywood art deco bar and formal lounge for entertaining, a French regency-style cinema, a tranquil study and a garden for cozy picnics.
