Epic Lobby Design – Dubai Atlantis

A world of award-winning adventure. Atlantis Dubai connects each guest with nature as seen in the pools epic underwater adventures. Here is the world’s most iconic design for the Atlantis Dubai.

The lobby of the Atlantis is filled with inspiration from the sunset to the ocean. I love how ocean life connects with guests in Atlantis. The lobby represents and underwater visual representation of the ocean. The pillars have scales and fins we would see on fish. The centerpiece made of glass represents and ocean wave as it nears the top of the water surface bringing in the light from the sun. In this case, the ocean captures the sunset or sunrise. The floor, intentionally made to shine, gives the water effect designers captured flawlessly. Hanging orange lighting represents the sun as also seen on the ceilings. This is hospitality design and requires wood workers and artists not normally seen in residential home design.

This room is a meeting room made to feel like home. Plush seating and soft carpet with matching drapes bring the room together all the while keeping the feeling of being underwater with the scaled pillars and blue carpet.

Life under the ocean is most likely the name of this project as they were building the Atlantis. Mirrors as seen here are symbolic of reflection, something seen very often in underwater adventures.

The sunset and sunrises in this lobby all the time. The massive lobby size also makes guests feel as if they are also in the ocean.

This large sunset chandelier is absolutely spectacular. I love chandeliers especially these kind specifically hand crafted for projects like Atlantis.

Every room of the Atlantis is hand detailed in the walls, drapery, lighting, flooring plants and seating. Designers made sure the Atlantis depicted life underwater in the most luxurious way. Picnic Fun!
