Handmade Pastry Box Bag

Box bag is inspired by a box of pastry. Each pastry handmade with clay, then painted with 3D paint which is different from regular acrylic paint in that it has the consistency to raise and dry in that shape. The box is first prepared with sanding and wood filler before painting.

Studs are applied to the back sometimes. These studs can be applied with a nail or glue. I chose to just put the 3D scene on one side of the bag because the intent is that when the box is on one side, it would appear as if the person has a plate of food.

Two types of handle pieces are added. The side pieces are for the chain and the other pieces are for the handle. The handle is made with tough materials one of which are paracord and webbing both used in the US Military.

This is the visual representation I envision with each bag. As it sits on its back, the top appears to be a platter of food. This bag was created from a raw wood box with hinges that were replaced and feet added.

Here the pastry bag has made its way into the Gucci store. Hehe. All box bags are made to order.
