Holmby Hills Luxury Dining Design
This grand estate in Holmby Hills has all the details of fine living. The focus in this room is the ceiling. Typically, ceilings are created with flat paint formulated for ceilings. Considering that heat rises and cold settles, ceiling paint needs to withstand high temperatures. Here, the designer decided to add a tin ceiling installed in square sheets with a decorative border. As with most designs, the client or home owner, may have mentioned that they wanted a tin ceiling or the designer may have decided that on their own given the metallic style of the fixtures in this kitchen. This kitchen has what I call a multi-use design approach. It has the style of a commercial environment such as a hotel lobby cafe, perhaps inspiration. It also has the elements of a cozy cabin with plush seating with views into the yard and lush garden. To re-create this room, I have chosen this tin ceiling tile. The other pieces of this room may have been custom crafted specifically for this client.
The dining area here is made elegant with sparkly items. Surfaces such as the piano and dining table are elegantly shining which adds class and sophistication to this area. Here the designer brought in the greenery with the many plants plus balanced the room with the off white candles matching the drapery. To re-create this room I chose the chair below it is slightly lower than the chairs here and match the carpet.

Constructed in Holmby Hills and modified within the last two decades, The Reserve was recently refined by a team of modern designers and international craftsmen, who have carefully expanded the estate to fulfill its potential as a truly outstanding property for both entertaining and intimate family life picnics.
