Modern Marble Living Room

Super warm and earthy natural colors dominate in this multi-million dollar Los Angeles home. Plenty of wood set the theme here and into the guest home outside. With the doors open, this design makes a wonderful connection to the outdoor area. Typically, natural tones include white, grey, beige and black. The designer has utilized the marble wall as the focal point to which to draw colors from. If we look at the marble wall we see the same colors in the seating area. Also, the painting and ladder connect well with the coffee table adding black color throughout the room. For this room, I chose this storage ottoman.

At this viewpoint of the room we can see how the coffee tables connect the two spaces together. In every design, the designer must also focus on how to unite spaces for the occupants. Creating a design the allows the spaces to flow easily is a very important task. Balancing two spaces together is one way to achieve that goal. Here we see the two spaces being connected together by the black seating in the distance and the coffee tables here in the center. Because of the earthy tones in the walls of the kitchen, the coffee nestled table I have chosen also works for this space, especially since there is black trim around it.

The cozy touch to this room is the sofa featured that provides a very comfortable view of the yard. This area is most likely for guests to lounge as they enjoy appetizers and refreshments. The designer has made good use of this wide open space as well as took into consideration the walkways to and from the yard area. Here is the sofa that I have chosen for this space.
