Poppin’ Pop Car
Chrome-coloured, three-seater with an electric drive train, oblong-shaped side windows and front-hinged doors, the POP concept definitely shows a very different image of a car, which was the objective of the designers.
The design team says that to create the POP concept the inspiration was drawn from several different areas rather than the automotive world in order to invent this concept
The POP has an interior mauve colour that was chosen to show a calm and peaceful environment. It was inspired on a picture of a space shuttle.
Introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the POP all-electric concept vehicle offers a glimpse into Kia’s electrification technology.
POP runs on compact lithium polymer gel batteries, has a flowing front seat design, a transparent organic LED dash panel, and an illuminated grille, and requires a little more than three yards of parking space.
