Shawarma Pizza

Pizza has lots of ingredients and this pizza is used with fresh ingredients made to create shawarmas. The fresh onion and bell peppers made this recipe super yummy especially on a picnic.

  • 1 of Khubz/Pita Bread/Pizza Dough (rolled out).
  • 3 tbsp of Pesto Alla Calabrese.
  • 2 lbs of chicken
  • 1/2 cup of mix Bell peppers.
  • 1/4 cup of slices onion.
  • 2 tbsp of Corn.
  • 4-5 of Olives sliced.
  • 1 cup of Mozzarella Cheese.
  • 1 tbsp of Italian seasoning.
  • 1/2 tbsp of Turkish crushed peppers or Chili Flakes.

It the chicken recipe to end all chicken recipes. It’s marinated in the most glorious marinade. Garlic sauce, chicken shawarma, mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, and onions. So, I discovered Chicken Shawarma at our favorite little restaurant in Appleton called Chicago Grill.

  1. On a pizza bread and put a layer of pesto alla calabrese.
  2. Add in 3/4 cup of mozzarella cheese to it, then layer your shawarma chicken pieces along with the rest of the vegetables.
  3. Add in the rest of the cheese and olives and season it with the italian seasoning and turkish peppers.
  4. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees c at least 20 minutes before you begin baking.
  5. Bake the pizza in the oven for 15-20 minutes or more till the cheese has browned from the top and the pizza base has been cooked.
  6. Picnic ready!
