Smørrebrød is a conventional Danish platter that is simple and filling. It is an open-faced sandwich that you can enjoy as an appetizer or main course. It involves buttered rye bread, which is flavorsome and healthy. The latter is topped with ingredients such as cold cuts of meat or seafood, cheeses, spreads and caviar . - Get 2 slices of rye bread.
- Take 1 of steak.
- Prepare 2 of beetroots.
- Prepare 50 g of goats cheese.
- Make ready 4 of cherry tomatoes.
- Take Handful of rocket.
- Prepare Sprig of rosemary.
- Prepare Dash of balsamic vinegar.
- Create a garnish salad with the beetroot, rocket, goats cheese and tomatoes.
- Slice the rye bread and toast.
- Season and oil the steak. Sear both sides basting with a rosemary “brush” until cooked to your liking.
- Rest the meat for 2 mins then slice and assemble. Dress with balsamic vinegar.
